Sunrise Estate Development Ltd (SEDL) was incorporated in Nigeria in 2002 to engage in real estate development. The company is a subsidiary of Setraco International Holding, the foreign partners of Setraco Nigeria Ltd, one of the five leading civil engineering construction firms in Nigeria with project experience of over 30 years and current projects portfolio in excess of US$ 1.8 Billion. SEDL was set up to take advantage of the emerging opportunities in the real estate subsector spawned by the government's reform policies on housing and infrastructure development. Specifically, the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) policy of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), provides a veritable platform for private sector participation in the accelerated development of the Federal Capital Territory.
